Quite the interesting little creature, surely," she lingered for only a moment longer before giving a small bow and taking off again.

Like before, she lept over the counter, touching with only one hand, her fingertips barely making contact with the carved wood. As she jumped, her fins seemed to give a tiny flap, as if they were wings, in a display of bright color, before she vanished once more into the kitchen.

Soon enough, the din and scent of cooking wafted it way from the kitchen, as Xanica toiled away. Judging by the smokey smells, and the hiss of fire, there was some sort of grill back there, in addition to any other appliances. The rattle of pots, the clang of metal agains metal, and the occasional chink of glass made it sound like an entire team was back there.

Soon enough, Xanica reappeared with a new tray, this one topped with a large plate of fish, the tiny pasta, couscous, and a side of steamed broccoli, still bright green. Along with the main dish, was another frosted pitcher of milk, and a few slices of fresh bread. Like before, the hostess brought the tray gracefully, and set it before the feline, with a light bow.

"I hope you enjoy it...I've been cooking for a little while, but I'm worried that the fish may be a little over-done," Xanica's smile waned a little at the mention, betraying her perfectionist nature.

-Species: Black Dragon
-Gender: Female
-Physical description(or picture): Rarely, if ever speaks, and tends to carry herself as you would expect an assasin to. Despite her msterious ways, Eternity tends to be a soft hearted woman.

-Other/Special: Usually remains in a humanoid(half dragon) form, though she can change into a full grown black dragon. Eternity can use a variety of magics, though she seems to only use them for cooking.

Also, she's the tavern's cook...

Efterår quickly hid a giggle behind her paw as the small mouse-like creature looked up from the little bowl with twitching whiskers.
"Well, at least someone thinks I'm not just a pest," Fiba squeaked, looking mighty smitten.

The golden and orange Mry just giggled again and shook her head a bit, taking another drink from her milk while she looked after Xan who so airily hopped over the counter as if it took no effort at all. Her ears perked and flickered to the sounds that began to ring out from the room behind the bar, which Effy assumed to be a kitchen, since the sounds soon were accompanied by the smell of cooking as well.

Sure enough, before too long the golden and orange Mry found Xan returning with a second plate which wafted a delicious smell around the room that made her whiskers twitch and her mouth water, so much so that she had to run her tongue along her lips to stop herself from drooling - it had been quite a while since she last had an extensive meal.
"Oh, I most certainly will be enjoying it, my dear," she answered with a smile. "It smells absolutely delicious, I can tell you are quite the chef."

She took one of the slices of bread and gave it to Fiba, who sat up high on her haunches and took the slice between her tiny forepaws to nibble on it, looking quite adorable in the process. Efterår smiled at it for a moment, but didn't waste too much time in beginning to eat herself. Hungry as she was from her travel, she still took her time to let the tantalizing taste of each morsel of food roll around her mouth, her golden whiskers fanning out and dancing lightly on the tremor of the purr that began rising in her throat. She was most clearly enjoying the food very much.
"Mmm... it not only smells delicious, it also tastes delicious," she said with a content smile after swallowing a bite of salmon. "This is without a doubt the best meal I have eaten in a very long time."

Before too long, all the food was gone to the last crumb. Leaning back, the golden and orange Mry drew a contended sigh and patted her tummy (her upper one) with a paw, licking the fingers of her other paw to rub her whiskers with.
"Wonderful," she murmured. "Truly wonderful. Just what I needed after such a long journey." She drew another deep breath and looked around her, finding she was still the only one there. With a smile, she turned to Xanica again. "It seems like there is plenty of time for me to bathe now. Could you show me to these springs you mentioned, and where I should leave my clothes to get them laundered, dear? If it's not too much trouble," she smiled.

-Name: Oliver Softcoat
-Species: Wolf
-Gender: Male
-Physical description(or picture): (I, not having the artistic prowess you fine people have, do not have a picture.) Oliver Softcoat is a wolf with light brown fur and wears rather plainly, if not formally. What he wears is tan pants and a white, buttoned down shirt, he has glasses that he wears while reading and does not require them for much else. His tail hangs from out of his pants as swishes as he walks. He is an intellectual who is rather shy and sensitive, but is very loyal to his friends. He loves books and travels the country side, looking for new books to read and add to his collection. He is rather tall and fit, from all the walking he does. All he has while walking the country is a pack on his back and the book in his hand, and of course the clothes on his back. He carries a knife with him in case of danger and is always on the lookout, despite having his face shoved in a book while walking from place to place. He is very good with that knife and light on his paws. He is an excellent cook and can conquer most any task sent his way. He is a very nice guy once you get to know him, though he is very shy at first. He is rather wealthy, since he sells some of his prized collection of books, that any man of intellect would gladly snatch up in a heartbeat. He travels to expand his mind, but in the back of it he yearns for companionship.

Oliver was walking down the dry road with his nose in a book as he came upon a town. He put away the book in the pack he had on his back and walked forward into this unknown place. He had been traveling for quite some time and was too dirty for his taste. He was traveling to collect books and sell books as well. For any man of intellect would happily buy a book from his collection, and he himself loved books very much.

He looked around and his eyes were drawn by the local tavern. He saw that it promised a place to stay and some food, he began to walk there. On his way he began to wonder what entailed in this new town he had happended upon and what new people he would meet. He reached the tavern and saw that there was a help wanted sign and began to think if he wanted to settle down in this town. He then thought that he would see how things went, as he had been getting increasingly lonely. He walked inside and sat at the nearest table that had no one in it, he awaited service. It seemed that the owner was busy at the time. He saw a book, produced a writing utensil and wrote in his name, "Oliver Softcoat". He noticed that he recognized both of them from some of the books he read and knew that these women were not very common among his people, but he would have been able to tell that without his books. What he did learn from the books were where they were originally from and their origins. Though he decided to keep this information to himself and wait for his order to be taken.

Being inside he had noticed that it is much bigger than on the outside, he guessed magic. He had always admired magic, even tried it out for himself, but he was not very gifted in magic himself. While waiting he took out his book and glasses and began to read, knowing the page without it being marked, he began to indulge himself in the words of fiction. In the book there were wizards, spells and heros, though he normally read nonfiction he enjoyed a good heroic tale of impossible feats. He found heros and mages in his nonfiction as well, but these were just more entertaining to him. While reading he had remebered he forgot to put away his knife which was strapped to his side, he quickly grabbed it and put it away in his pack. While in his pack he withdrew his bag where he held his money and took a moment to admire his huge book collection, he wondered if anyone in this town would want to purchase one though. He decided he would see if there was a book shop later on, because he had been running low on funds lately, but one good sale and he would fill back up his bag. He would also see if there were any books of intrest there for him to buy as well. He had noticed a sign saying that there was a hot spring and he couldn't wait to see how it was, but first he would eat. So he sat and waited for the strangers to finish their conversation.

-Species: Ursan
-Gender: Male
-Physical Description: Large eight foot tall kodiak. Wears a scar over his left eye from a long forgotten duel. He wears a set of dark clothes, consisting of trouser, tough boots, a vest and a thin, but durable trenchcoat. A peculiar item that most over look is attached to his back. It appears to be a long slab of flat metal with a series of slits along one side, but when examined more carefully it reveals itself as a porous material of hidden origin.

Stumbling down the steet, fatigue and starvation finally taking their toll cause this fat bear to stagger a bit before falling against the doorframe. Panting hard he looks up, squinting at the runes on the window in confusion.

"Ah, my head hurts too much to try read. . " he trails off as the scent of smoked salmon reaches his nose and he shifts his weight to savor the aroma, causing him to nearly collapse flat on the floor of the tavern. Without looking up from the floor he calls out, "Someone, anyone, get my a plate of that delicious scent." He then struggles to his knees and paws his way forward to the very table that Oliver seated himself at. Then he slams a paw on the edge and drags himself up into a chair, leaving him sitting hunched over and panitng.

Oliver looks up from his book and see a bear stagger his way to his table. This strange bear pulled his way up to the table and was sitting in a chair across from his. He, seeing him panting and hunched over, reaches in his pack and pulls out some of his water supply, he set it next to the bear and let him get it if he so choosed. He then, once again, began to wait for the server to come and serve him and the bear across from him. He then returned to his book and without looking up coldly remarked "you forgot to sign the sign in book".

(sorry going to be gone for a week, so won't be able to post again till the 20th)

Reaches over and accepting the water gives it a quick sniff. Finding nothing suspicious about it he takes a couple mouthfuls. Looking around he notices the guest registry, "Thank you for the water. About the book though, I do not know yet whether I will be staying the night and it would not be right to check in if only stopping in for a meal. Should I choose to stay then I will be sure to add my signiture to the others."

-Physical Description:6ft tall,197lbs,pure white fur except for the coal black stripes running from his paws to his ears,white short spiky hair about 3in long,no shirt(hope theirs not a no shirt no shoes no service policy lol),Navy green baggy cotten pants,no shoes,stands erect,hazzle eyes,small waste,revitaly skinny,a small dagger tied to a rope that wraps around his pants,a small pouch hanging of his shoulder,healed cuts up and down his chest,a small bandage wraped around his right leg,a thin tail 4ft long keeping him ballanced and from falling to the groung from exastion.

Nick walks slugishly into the tavern and takes a seat on a nearby chair."Whew I think lost them."Starts whipping the sweet off of my face.

The big bear looks up at the newcomer, cocks his head to the side and opens his mouth as if to holler out but then ducks into his left elbow and starts to hack and wheeze uncotrollably.

When the fit subsides, he looks at the new entry again, "Guess I can't scare you by hollering 'He's in here, quick before he escapes' can I now." and finishes with another couph into his elbow.

Oliver looks to the newcomer and is confused by what the bear said, he wondered about the history, if there was any, behind them. He hid behind his book but was sure to cock his ear to their conversation and see if he could learn what was going on; by this time he was so hungry he was going to go into the kitchen and make himself something, him being an excelent cook from all the meals he had to cook while on the rode and from all the cook books he read.

-Physical description(or picture): Krist is a silver-haired fox, about average height. He wear a buttoned-up hawaiin shirt and a pair of cut off jean-shorts, cut off just below the knees.

Krist walks into the tavern and signs the guest book. He then makes his way over to the bar and orders his usual, a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster. Krist leans against the bar, slowly sipping his cool drink.
